Hey guys, Im thinking of sourcing a firm who would make a lazer engraved plaque for the final model, Something like a mini track map, hamiltons name and winning time etc. Just wondered if any of you knew such a firm? Any recommendations would be brill. Thanks Danny Building the McLaren MP4-23

This company may be able to produce what you want.. http://www.nameitplates.co.uk/
You could try Severn Mill Nameplates, who specialise in high quality loco model nameplates, though may be able to produce something special.

Im yet to contact the above companies but I've seen these on HobbyLinkJapan and would like something very similar. http://www.hlj.com/product/ACS8937
I do like the ones on the Amalgam model aswell http://finemodelcars.com...P4-23%20BRL%20%2001.JPG
(Warning - Very Hi-Res image) Apart from who has replied above, providing we don't get such a display case from DeAgostini, what is everyone else doing for a display case and plaque, or something of that kind? I've drawn inspiration from the Amalgam display and would like to make a carbon base with a near Alcantera effect round the edges. Building the McLaren MP4-23

i found on ebay a plaque with the drivers name and model of the car and at the end it says hand built by, and then you have your name engraved!! nice little touch when its in a display case :-) its about 13 pounds from memory.
