F22 raptor is looking pretty good now ??? They should went with the f22 to begin with. Which I thought was used in die hard 4.0 but from what ive read and seen the f35 is smaller then the f22 and the older harrier but not by much im guessing the f35 is suffering from the same problems as the current f1s heat issues

Looks like its intended to also depict bygone era's, as there is a Swordfish, Phantom and Harrier in the sky, and the other carriers are possibly Ark Royal and Victorious?

The sensitive aircraft carrier issue.. It's quite likely that the first squadron of fighters to operate from the Royal Navy's new aircraft carrier will belong to the US Marines rather than Britain...

I think this might be a case of the media making a "mountain out of a molehill" as it does say in the report that the aircraft designers were aware since 2007 that there may be a fit problem on the F-35B and that they were intentionally holding off on making changes to the bomb bay in order to allow for the anticipated development of the weapons since then? I'm sure it will all be sorted one way or another as Lockheed Martin are superb at what they do - making amazing aircraft.
