Im surprised ay these decals, very poor for the model and the price, ScaleMotorsport are much better inspite of being 1/12 scale. I used those with 4 coats the 'New' type Johnsons Clear and I think they look better by far.

I found them on Ebay in the Model kit section, I think I tried 2/3 different types but none are expensive so no problem. Once they were on I coated them with the new Johnsons 'Pledge" which works as well as the original and easy to get hold of And cheap.

Thanks, have you got the link for the decals in your ebay purchase history, if so is it possible to have it. I really like the decals.

Looking great! Is the Johnsons Pledge suitable to 'Shine' up the front and rear wings to solve the colour problem....or will it damage the paint at all? I have never tried this before. Chris

In my opinion the Pledge as sold now does the job just as well as the 'Klear' it has to be said Ive not tried it on aircraft canopies but I have used it over Alclad Chrome and all is well
