Well it was certainly an interesting one!

Maldonado proving once again that he really hasn't got the right head and mentality to be on the grid!

What I want to know is, with 3 penalties handed out after the race for incidents, Kobyashi Vergne and Maldonado
Why didn't Alonso get a penalty, or get penalised for stopping his car on the track?
I was on the understanding that cars on completion of a race must make they're way to Perc Ferma to be scrutanised?

Anyone of them stewards could've done something to that car before it was towed in, the same with Alonso himself, the drivers are'nt normally allowed to celebrate with their pit crews as they may give them weights to put in their racing overalls to alter their race weightCursing

Sorry to rant but I absolutely hate Alonso and the Ferrari team, they always seem to get away with rule bending

And while I'm ranting, team radio is there for the other teams and the public to hear what drivers and their race engineers are discussing, all are done in English, except Alonso and Ferrari
Gives me the hump!Cursing

Hamilton has jumped the barriers in parc ferme before to celebrate with and hug his team, so I'm not going to complain about alonso doing it.

I think the rules are different post race as they are to say qualifying about stopping on track

I must admit I can't stand Ferrari either.
They're too far up their own a-ses for my liking, and Alonso is an arrogant burk. (Personal opinion)
I have to admit to really hoping to see a Lotus 1-2 finish for the first time in around 30-odd years. At one point in the closing stages it looked very possible.
Who knows - maybe some time this year?
Roy.

Yep I deffinatley am. All 3 days. Up at 4am be there for 5 to get a parking space. Such long days but well worth it. Fingers crossed the weather is good.

Also going to goodwood this weekend coming. Hoping to get lots of pics of every F1 car I see. Might even meet jenson & Vettle again.

Not doing goodwood this year. Went last year. Still tempted to go on Sunday but wanted to go on Friday. Not too fussed about driver chasing. BigGrin

Lewis to blame sorry, but Lewis should have had the sense to move and let him back on i mean Lewis is a former champ so should think better to what could happen as for Pastor it's only his second year in F1 and already a race winner how long did it take others to win there first race eh? Rubens 118 races Jenson took six years to win his first race some have never even won races only adding my opinion!!

Personally i think Pastor should have been banned after twice using his car as a weapon. Once against Lewis and then again on Perez!

Hmmmm ok but look at this way take my points from my last post and consider that Lewis's tyre's where past there best he was struggling for grip....Pastor should not have been given his 20 sec penalty after all

Oh dear i'm so going to be hated on this Forum!

ok ok what Maldonado did showed his inexperience by not thinking if i go over the curb the wheels won't touch the ground and he'll have no control over the car, he should of just went straight on. He also should of thought with 1 lap left just play it cool and overtake Lewis on the next bend, it would of been so easy the way Lewis had no traction coming out of the corners.
As for Lewis (who has been exceptional so far) with all his experience he should of thought whats the point of fighting Maldonado and should of just let him go past and try to get the car home to get a few points which would of been the most sensible thing to do. BUT as Lewis said in his interview "you never let anyone past, you got to race for every position you can get". Thats what racing is all about. I couldn't see Senna just letting someone past like that.

He also did it to Lewis last year after qualifying in Spa, not at fan at all!

I understand what your say meffman, your not going to be hated for having your own view!!

Yes he's done well to win in his 2nd season, but he still shows alot of immaturity on the track

Didn't he go straight up someones gearbox in Monaco too?

As for silverstone, I'm there!BigGrin

Albeit not in the Force India hospitality like last year though Crying

Could'nt agree more with this... not sure what article it is in the racing bible but Maldonado had left the track and regained in a dangerous manner... not a ban but think he got off lightly. Given that he is a good driver and williams need him
