Hi everyone, Thought you might like to have the heads up on a new adhesive that I came across in my local Wilkinson's store. It's made by Loctite and goes by the name of HYBRID GLUE. It works on virtually any surface, is flexible and is re positionable for 5 minutes. It is sold in 50g plastic squeeze bottles which have quite a small nozzle, but for more precise application I found it easier to squeeze some onto a piece of card and then use a pin or small brush to apply it. I'm sure it could be a useful addition to our tool box. Happy building David

Hi all, I have found this glue recently and find it to be quite good, on the bottle it says 5 mins grab time with full str in 2-3 hours, I have always left it longer but allows quicker progress than the tesco pva glue I was using earlier!

Mr T wrote: "You should use PVA wood glue for any wooden model ship build. I use Aliphatic PVA as it is superior to normal PVA." This put me on a hunt for this glue and found it at a chain hardware store. Its triple the price of standard PVA wood glue. According to its specifications and applications, its worth paying the price.
