ISSUE 137

I received this issue today, and there are 2x 32 pounders included, my question is where are the Breeching Rings on the part between the Cascable and the Barrel? and they appear to be 24 pounders not 32 poundersBlink Regards Mike

It's coming along nicely Mike. I love the enhancements with the walnut. This wood is a lovely medium to work with and looks fantastic doesn't it? Superlative work as always my friend, keep those pictures coming. ThumpUpBigGrin

Hi Mike,

No panic, the cannon are drilled and the breeching rings added to the cannon in issue 138.

Cannon size appears about right for being 32-pounders, though we won't be receiving any 24-pounders, as there are no 24-pounder gun ports either side of the entry port.

Hi Team,
While building this model, I wanted to have more accuracy in the build and I planned some enhancements, but in order to have these enhancements for myself I need 10 members to also want them, so we can get the best price and the product together.
Here are the enhancements:-

1) FULL SIZE MAST WITH STANDARD RIGGING.
2) 1/72 SCALE COPPER TILE PACK.
3) 1/72 SCALE BOARDING PIKES.
4) ENHANCED CANNON KIT.
5) BLACK COATED STEEL CANNON BALLS 2mm in packs of 250.
6) ENTRANCE CANOPY ( 4 piece with overdoor motiff)
7) MASTHEAD LAMP white metal and brass etch

If you are interested in making these Enhancements happen please PM me

Kind Regards
Mike

Hi Team I have received support from more than 10 members now.

Hi Graeme, Just a line to say the photos will be of the actual product, I will fit a mast to my X Section in due course so all the members will be able to see the finished product before they commit past the deposit stage, I want everyone who has supported this project to be totally satisfied.

Kind regards

Mike

THE STAND MODIFICATION

While I am waiting for the Full main mast with standard rigging, I have been doing bits and pieces, the stand is nearly finished, I sheathed the ply pieces in 1 mm x 5mm walnut, I propose to finish it with danish oil, unless you guys have any suggestion.
This is a great model with lots of scope for enhancements,Andy has done a fabulous job of enhancing his build, Good stuffBigGrin Kind regards Mike

Hi Mike, as usual job well done. I think Danish oil will really bring out the grain and make it look great.
