Hi, shipmates!

Only one gun still missing in the cutaway!

Finally a thin woodstrip on top to protect the frame parts

After adjusting the colors of frames and planks, this is the result

Greetings from Austria,
Bernd

Hi Bernd,BigGrin

That is really brill,Drool Drool .
I like the addition of the rib sections in the cutaway, a nice twist, much better than a large hole in the hull.

Regards

I became emotional watching your sailors at work. Your work visualise the strain these men had to deal with. I like the soot stains on their bodies. It gives a new dimension to the illustration of cannoniers at work.

Hi Bernd
Absolutely Stunning Build You have been an inspiration and your pictures are so clear

This is my first ever large wooden build and i have just got to the sails i was planning on furling the sails but someone on the forum said they would look out of scale,
would you happen to know the dimensions for the sails if i was to shorten them ??
any help would be gratefully received
Thanks again
Allan

Hi Bernd

I have followed your build for almost two years now, you gave did a fantastic job and for this you should move to the Admirals Table. I have used a lot of your ideas in whole and in part over the past couple of years , well almost.

I am contacting you today on the 15 Eye Bolts around the Mizzen Mast, Do you have any information at all as to what all of these Eye Bolts are used for, I am at a loss as I can not find any rime or reason for all of these, mu kit calls for 15, the real ship has 6, could you help me out in this matter.

Once again you have did an excellent job on your build of the HMS Victory, you have created a beauty, well done. Enjoy.

Regards Lawrence

Thank you, Lawrence!

No, I have no ideas what all these eye bolts are used for. In my case, 7 of those around the Mizzen mast remained unused.

Best regards,
Bernd
