I done mine in 2mm sheet ply the same way as you are doing it. Try cutting it a little oversize and then sand it back with progressive grain of sand paper also I didnt have the bulkheads in the way. I cut to them and not around them. This let me remove the complete deck for easier working. Hope this helps a bit

Just an idea, make template of the full curve, like the half template you already did but a full round of the curve your after. Then soak your wood for a good couple of hours fit around the template with elastic bands/clamps leave to set overnight this should leave you with the desired full curve your after Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Cornwall Model Boats used to stock some flexible 5x2 planks that allow sideways curves like your trying to achieve,I have used it & provided you soak it then it takes & holds quite tight curves...wether they still stock it is another matter...just taken a look...heres the link http://www.cornwallmodel...log/beech-flexible.html
Hope this helps Rob Nolli Illigitimi Carborundum!!!Current Builds: HMS Victory, SV Thermopylae
