Hi, i've made a few mistakes on my model with glue running onto the silver finish & i would like to paint over this.Does anyone know what colour number of Humbrol or Revell paint i should buy that matches the McLaren? Thanks.Stuart.Confused

Closest to the original that I can see working will be Vallejo paints Liquid Silver 790.. can be sprayed or brushed on but is sinthetic resin so be carefull!!

Modelzone also do it but its not on there website

Thanks Spencer, Is that the colour you are using on your build? I'm watching your build diary with great interest & it will look stunning when completed.Your doing things with it i wouldn't attempt.Can't wait to see it finished.Thanks again.Stuart.BigGrin

I'm using Alclad Chrome for spraying to give a chrome finish.. the paint i have given you details on is the closest for the original that i have tested on parts etc...
