Eddie Jordan has rumoured that at the end of this season, Schumacher will retire from F1 and Hamilton will leave McLaren to take the Mercedes seat..

Hamilton will likley have a very careful eye on how the next few races go, and if his fortunes don't improve then it could well signal a move to pastures new.

If Hamilton went to Merc it would be a few steps down racing wise but better money! So a move like that would be purely for the money! So fingers crossed he has a bit more about him and stays at McLaren. Then fingers cross that McLaren get their act together!

Hamilton last night refused to commit his future to McLaren, when quizzed if he knew where he would be driving next year, he replied “No.”

I wonder if today's win might have just made his mind up?

Only time will tell!!
I think he IS very loyal to McLaren since it was they who gave him the leg up when he needed it at the start of his racing career as we all know, but he is also desperate to win more Championships and if McLaren can't promise that for next year and beyond and their form at the moment is just a flash in the pan then he may well sign for another team EVEN after todays' result? Depends on whether he can catch and overtake Alonso for this years' title, if he can do that then I think he will stay at McLaren for at least another year, if not more?
