BigGrin Thanks for looking in Martyn as promised here is my dedicated airbrushing /paint room and video build area. The left side is for spraying, the right side is for vids, hence the overhead and side lighting and the stores are in the corner area.

I'm a little bit jealous of all the space you've got there Andy Blink

My build area is no longer in the garage, it's quite cozy.

My build area is transformed into my video studio with some large sheets of card, the roof light has a 100W White LED bulb in it. BigGrin

Looks awesome Andy. I have a video desk with soft box in dining room and a big desk in our bedroom with compressor for anything else. Currently the bedroom DESK! is dusty as not done anything on it for a while 😂😞.

Mine is a bit stuffed with cars...
The difficulty is finding somewhere to put the current big build, while I make some wheels or something...

All good fun.

What a fantastic space to lose yourself in.

Beautiful models and a dedicated space i really envy you that BigGrin

I have caring responsibilities and my building is the kitchen table if all is well which sadly of late ots not been and that has in turn curtailed a lot of what i want to do.

Have some share money coming out next year and vety tempted by some of these waltons outdoor buildings but a lot of thought needed because that could be money ill spent when it comes to the winter and the like.

You have some absolutly beautiful models in your collection.
Happy Modelling

very nice space you have yourself there.

I have a week off this week and had today to myself to get back to my Revenge build.

Its the kitchen table for me at the moment which does mean setting up and clearing away time but must admit I have enjoyed my time today.

Bit of Christmas shopping tomorrow and all things being well back onto my build on Wednesday.
Happy Modelling

Ditto the above...

My hidey-hole is frequently full of junk.
I have to admit to a good degree of tidying up before I took my pictures.

Cheers Tom Cool

That was the original plan, well a variation of it anyway, but I ran out of funds and time. For the time being I have just been running my heater a couple of times a day, just to take the edge off. So far seems to be doing the trick. Just hope it gets me through the January/Febuary months to the spring, then I can improve upon it...all being well, best laid plans and all that.

There is enough of a gap between the internal OSB to be able to add insulation then, will be a bit of a pain taking everything out to do it but just one of those things I guess. I will need to as I need to add a couple of sockets under the bench closer to the floor as well as the two I have above bench.

(All this is assuming we dont end up moving next year, which has come about since this was done, which is highly typical lol)

Cheers

As some of you may have noticed I have been a little out of action the last few weeks. Well school holidays have kept me busy but a bigger impact on my modelling time was the need to pack away all my modelling stuff in the attic and clear the area so that the plumber installing a new bathroom could access the attic were my workshop is set up.

Well the bathroom is done and with the schools back and me having a little bit of time on my hands I decided now was the time to revamp the workshop.

so this is what I did last week...

Everything has been painted white to make the space feel a bit lighter.

At on end of the attic is the paint station flanked by two stashes, the one on the left kits that are started, the one on the right not started. The paint desk can also be used for large builds

Two shelving units now divide the space in two creating a snug model space with a main desk and a second desk for my many power tools but also doubles as an assembly desk. between them is a computer space allowing me to have instructions on view and have a DVD playing, I also have my HiFi so I have my all important music too. Everything is to hand and it feels organised for the first time LOL LOL LOL

Must be very satisfying, and exciting, for you Jase to have a newly organised workspace ready and waiting for you to get going with your favourite hobby?! Cool ThumpUp

Looks a nice area to work in, though mind your head on those roof trusses or you might end up spending more time sleeping than modelling! Blink BigGrin
