Hi,
You're definitely going to need a case for the finished model, because these things are almost impossible to clean once they get dusty, which they will of course. I'm speaking from experience, you should see the sorry state of my Albatros. I'm currently having a case made for my Endeavour. The recommended dimensions are 50mm longer and wider than the finished model and 100mm higher, the finished model dims are given in issue 1, on the poster I think. The thought of a cat amongst the rigging would be worse than pigeons.

This is a very good question and ideally should be moved to the SotS general build forum rather than the build diaries forum.

Wold you send Mr T a request to move it so it is more easily visible to members who don't look at the diary forum topic list... BigGrin

animals at play,a shudder runs down my spine,my two cats used to have the run of the house,NOT NO MORE,they wrecked two of my ships,no only having a good chew, but knocking them of a shelf 6 foot off the ground, the ship I could live with, but having to wash the walls down afterwards,I did not like and sombo didn't like the shade of red either.so they are banned from the shipyard, and cry all day outside the door, and plead to be let loose again ,NO WAY.if you have animals please make sure you lock 'em up somewhere away from the beloved model.Glare Angry
