Great looking build, cant believe how quickly you have turned it round with a finish like that. Well done. A couple of final pics on her base would be great.
Cheers
Peter

Hi SJD

Ah yes the rigging.
I found the instructions very vague when building my E L.
I had to do a search and find some finished models to guide me.
I also got out my magnifying glass and had a long close look at the box as well.
It looks as if you you have made a fine job of it.
Best wishes Peter

By the way I ran out of thread on my kit even though I used it sparingly.
Also the 4mm masts and spars were supplied as 3mm.

Longboat rigging now completed BigGrin
Have really enjoyed this as my first build, and say a big thanks to all for looking in and commenting.
Was very apprehensive when first decided to do a wooden build, but a big thanks to all members for guiding me to this build, as first posted about my desire to do the Yamato.
Here are the final pics, and again, please feel free to comment. Thanks, Steve.

Well done Steve,
That's a good build you have there.
Now you must find a safe place to put her, away from kids/cats/dogs and SWMBO.
I believe we have a member or two here who could tell a fine story regarding cats and model boats.

best wishes Peter
