I don't ever see EG making it as a Partwork, simply because of all that it represents and the 'in bad taste' it would draw.

I think the next one will be the P51 - but actually I think a nice Spit would be a real winner - I personally prolly wouldn't be able to stretch to buying a P51, but a Spit I'd work out something for (people get by fine on one kidney don't they?).

Got to agree on the red arrow that would be stunning and a well knkown trainig aircraft around the world so would have the mass appeal for a partwork “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

I'm gonna put my money on a P-51. It's out there... IMCTH, the company that produces the 1/32 versions, as well as the 1/16 Zero said this; "At this time, we are unable to comment on the 1/16 P-51." Ambiguous, yes, but also tell-tale in what they aren't saying. Whatever the case, I'm down for 2x. Tired, Old, and Cranky!

I echo Experten Come on Deag! 1/16 P-51D in 1/16 scale just like the Zero! THe company that did the 1/16 zero has done a 1/32 P-51D. They can't comment on a 1/16 version so maybe there is one in the pipeworks but Deag has told them not to say anything, or maybe just the suggestion of a 1/16 version has frightened them!!! Then after that..... Hmmm Hawker Typhoon! Fantastic airframe and the Napier Sabre engine is just a beast and a model in itself! ME 262 Jet Fighter. lots to build up on that one in 1/16. These are totally unique kits Deag and I am sure that I echo lots of members on here when I say that we want more! I am sure that the spitfire will be a good seller, but I believe that the modeller on here wants a challenge as well as the opportunity to learn. These metal airframe/skin etc do this so well. It gives us, the modeller a chance not only to show their skills, but also to learn new skills and an idea on what it is like to build the real thing. One thing I can say.... you keep on putting these out and I will keep buying!
