Having reached the practical conclusion of the MP4/23 I have a few observations that I would like to put to the Forum

First of all I think Kyosho are to be congratulated on the production of such a superb model both in the design and rendering which has allowed modellers of all skill levels to build this kit, no mean feat. They are of course experts in the field.

What has struck me as very strange is the way Deagostini has delivered the parts to us and the chaotic way we have been instructed to put everything together. Those of us who have been involved in this hobby for some time know that modular build is best and the delicate parts such as painted body panels and extraneous parts are left to the final assembly to avoid damage, but according to the suggested method it's back to front, example:- skid blocks supplied weeks after the under tray has been completed, decal sheet at the end so applying them is made difficult.

My final moan is that, being aware this model was going to be expensive we all went into it with our eyes open but the few parts at the end are dragging everything out so the cost has been extended by many pounds which I think will make further purchases of Partworks models something to really think 'is.it worth it'.
