As we are approaching the Christmas period once again I thought you might like to keep your eyes open in your local Maplin stores for this bargain. I bought mine last year (or it might have been the year before that) in the Maplin half price monthly offers and for £19.99 it was a real bargain.
You get a dremel type rotary tool complete with all accessories, drills, sanding drums, grinders etc. etc.
A miniature jig saw with a variety of blades and an orbital sander complete with velcro sanding sheets and a dinky little triangular detail add-on. All three are speed controlled and all three plug into the same power transformer (one at a time)
I have used the rotary tool for all the usual tasks and also the sander for finishing the hull and shaping the ribs. I haven't used the jigsaw as much yet but that will come in to its own once I start on the fighting tops.
Highly recommended and as I mentioned, this is about the time the special offers will be starting!
