Hi, All.

Cant wait for this, built the nitro racer and the spitfire, love working RC models especially nitro.

Would like to see a RC nitro heli, that would be a challenge for deagostini
especially trying to get the main rotors on the front of a magazine......BigGrin.

I have been checking every day on this site from its first mention in november to see if the hummer is listed in subscriptions..not yet :(.

I've got the Tamiya hummer, was fun to build and more fun to drive although the suspension isn't great! In fact the whole steering on their kit leaves a lot to be desired, unusual for Tamiyas pedigree......

I would be interested in this, especially in nitro and the scale makes it a beast!

What I really would like is a 1/16th scale tank kit, like Tamiyas M26, with lights, sound, gun elevation etc WOW, shame they are so expensive........the ideal part work methinks? What do you guys reckon?? Drool

Hi pietro,

Yes a ver good idea, tamiya tanks are excellent quality but as you say expensive, a partwork for one could be worth looking into, they could start with the basic tank, 2-3 channel mostly plastic parts then offer updates when the basic tank is completed, like metal tracks, sound gen, extra channels for controlling turret etc etc.

How about the tamiya 1/14 scale tractor/lorry BigGrin ......

Hey, they could do with the Hummer what they did with the nitro racer in that after it was completed they give you the option to upgarde the car with a different body shell, a sports exhaust and I think different tyres etc, these upgardes added a few extra partworks to the set but they well worth it. The hummer could be upgraded with say a military body kit, tyres etc its something that could be done quite easily, what do you think???

Just wondering...
At this HUGE size, will there be a driver figure available???
I really HATE seeing large R/C cars running around with a ghost in the drivers seat.
I'm VERY tempted by this one though......

I'm not aware of one, but I'm sure there are a few out there which would suit such as an Action Man type figure..

Hi all,
Quick calculation in my head at £32 per month = approx £520 - £550.
Would that price include motor and RC unit with operating gear?
If it does it sounds like a good deal and if so count me in!!!!
Just gonna have to dodge the divorce court LOL.

Very interested in this, especially as it's going to be completed in 65 issues. Any partwork that I bash though in just over a year is a huge plus!

Bring on the launch date!
