Honda introduced the CB750 to the US and European markets in 1969 after experiencing success with their smaller motorcycles, and was the first modern four-cylinder machine from a mainstream manufacturer, and the term 'Superbike' was coined to describe it.
The Honda CB750-four model:
Honda licensed 1/4 scale replica.
Working suspension, Operable seat, Working head light, Dial lighting, Working tail light, Metal roller chain, Working rear brake light operable via the brake pedal, rubber tyres with authentic tread pattern, Working indicators & horn, Metal fenders, Chrome finished parts,Rubber fork gaitors, Metal spoked wheels, Pre-painted parts (paint finish is that of the original bike).
The electonics are operated via the display plinth and the Honda key. The display plinth also houses a speaker for the digital sounds of the original 750-four engine.
Height: 270mm, Length: 520mm, Width: 200mm, Seat height: 220mm.

I would be interested in this although where I'll find the time to build all these I'm not sure. This and the D51 loco would make a change from planking and rigging.

I'd love to do a bike but I'd prefer a race replica. I lived on the Isle of Man for 5 years and John mcguiness HM Plant Honda he broke the 130mph lap on would be ideal!! Hint hint  If at first you don't succeed........skydiving is not for you!

Looks like Tamiya did a 1/6 large scale kit of the same bike a number of years ago, though it did not have sound or lighting etc.

Hi Mr T, Thanks for the Honda CB750 video's they were a joy to watch. I have a couple of questions about the partwork if I may? 1. The engine and exhaust manifold, pipes etc, are the parts made of metal? 2. Does the engine come as a one piece, or do we construct it? The downpipes and exhaust are metal chromed and much of the engine is metal, as are the fenders and shocks.

Hi Tomick, This is my first ever response on the forum. I am at this time signed up for the D51 and awaiting first delivery. Regarding the CB750, actually there were over 600,000 of all models sold. I have a UK supplied CB750K0 from 1970 the same as the DeAgostini model. I am editor for a club that follows all things early Japanese, motorcycle wise.The CB750 is credited with being the first 'Superbike' and as such has an important place in the history of motorcycles. Having viewed examples of this model on Youtube and even eBay it looks excellent. I am sure the model will have a following but advertising the model in the right place especially some of the UK Vintage/Classic motorcycle journals will be required if it is to succeed. regards Dennis Dennis attached the following image(s):

Sorry I missed you post as I was on holiday at the time.
Your bike looks fantastic. The model release is looking like mid 2014. I'm sure that marketing will ensure its marketed in the right places when the time comes.
Have you seen the topic on the 1/3 scale operable engine kit..
