Pleased to announce that the 1/4 scale Harley-Davidson Fat Boy will be arriving shortly BigGrin

http://www.planetadeagos...i.com.br/public/harley/

Steel, rubber, leather and chrome. With these four words, Harley-Davidson underlines the quality of its production. A similar quality is achieved in this model, with more than three-quarters of the parts being solid die-cast metal, and all of them reproduced with great accuracy. The materials and colours are as close as is practical in a model to those of the original Fat Boy.

Length: 597mm
Handlebar width: 255mm
Handlebar height: 270mm
seat height: 166mm
Weight: 6.8kgs

Pre-painted parts. Metal fuel tank & Engine block. Working lighting. Operable suspension. Windshield. Authentic Harley V-twin engine sound at a twist of the throttle. Rubber tyres with authentic tread pattern. Authentic Harley-Davidson markings.

You can bet there will be a gathering of Fat Boy's at this annual Harley meet..
http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=13046

The Fat Boy became famous for its starring roll in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, with Arnold Schwarzenegger making the famous Harley jump. Which next to The Great Escape bike jump, is probably the most famous in cinema history.
The T2 fat boy has been acquired for the Harely Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, and still shows significant production wear from filming:

Hi All, BigGrin

This one could even get a non bike lover, (like me), start drooling.

Cool Cool

Then you add sound effects and I think I`m being teased.

BigGrin BigGrin

Oh choices, choices.

Confused Confused

I`m sure this one will make for some very happy builders.

Wow

Did not realise this is to be a partwork. Saw the post earlier and thought it had been placed in reference to the new Tamiya kit.

I have a feeling my brother may finally be tempted with a build.

Happy modelling

Thanks for the reply Mr. T.

To not have it available in the US is sacrilege.

Here's an interesting tidbit I learned yesterday evening. Everyone remembers the T2 Fat Boy.

BUT in the original "The Terminator" Arnold was also driving a motor cycle. Coincidentally it's this one: http://www.model-space.c...ild-the-honda-cb750.html
