McLaren has announced it will be building a limited run track-focused 12C GT Can-Am Edition. Billed as the "ultimate track car", these will not be subject to the usual racing regulations of the successful 12C GT3 racer on which it is based. Each will be fitted with an unrestricted version of the familiar 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and with a tweaks the engine develops 630bhp. Only 30 will be made at a price tag of £375,000 and production begins in March 2013. Tomick attached the following image(s):

Also interesting to see that a McLaren F1 has just been sold for in excess of £3.5 million, and beats record for most expensive modern supercar ever! The Tom Hartley supercar dealership in Derbyshire sold the multi-million-pound car for its record-breaking sum. The GTR was originally destined for motorsport, with only 28 models reaching production. Some of these such as this example, were transformed into stripped-out road-going models, attracting far higher price tags than the 'normal' F1. It is very unusual for an F1 to be sold outside of the McLaren network. Tomick attached the following image(s):

Nope - sorry. The McLaren is loose change in the scheme of most expensive. Have a look at the new Maybach - $8,000,000!!!! http://www.therichest.org/featured/supercars/

Personally I wouldn't class the Maybach as being a Supercar but a Luxury car, but yeah, I agree, the McLaren is loose change in comparison.
