Below are a few pictures of how I have managed to turn around what could have been an expensive mistake.. Yes I am showing off my skills but at the same time i'm throwing a lifeline to anyone who might be in the same situation as a subscriber who I will not name but asked me for help. So if you find yourself in the same situation then please don't be shy and PM me if you need assistance..

BigGrin The paint you used looked seamless. Is that the same wing, or am I missing something?

nah, you've gone out and bought another wingBigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

your painting skills with this and with your own model are fantastic, and as you say at the beginning you are showing off, but if you can do work like this then show it off as much as you want.
Come on you Jimmies

I think at £1.99 I would have bought a new wing.
In fact I bought several until I was completely happy with my build.
I seemed to struggle to glue the little metal stay onto the front two silver wings without getting too much glue on or not quite having it positioned correctly. Luckily at £1.99 it was not a problem.

Nice repair job though Warty.

It's the Alclad Chrome but as you can see from one of the pictures it's overblow onto the original Silver to blend in..
