i just saw this on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/it...amp;hash=item5aeb7e40b7
i have seen this a lot on ebay, surely if you are buying this series you can see the cover price, and the phone number inside the mag. which means if you give them a call all you pay is 7.99 including postage. so why do people keep paying over the top. Come on you Jimmies

There are always mugs out there, and 'entrepreneurs' who will cash in on it. Roy.

Don't forget that ebay is worldwide and a lot of the bidders will not be able to get this in their country... just look on the bids and see who is bidding...

Come on you Jimmies

It could be more about time than money. Getting a replacement part off Deag can take a couple of weeks, Ebay a couple of days.
I bought a job lot of of the 007 DB5 off ebay - issues 1 to 39, and then subscribed to get the rest, but my subscription started at issue 78. I then had to back order the rest - 40 to 77. I saw several issues fetching good money on Ebay and was baffled why as Eaglemoss guaranteed they would have plenty of stock for subscribers. I soon found out why people were paying high prices as my back orders started to arrive with hugh gaps. I ended up resorting to buying off ebay to fill the gaps and paid over the odds for some issues that I needed to finish certain stages of the build. I quickly worked out that certain issues were fetching astronomical prices and so place multiple orders for these issues which eventually arrived. I sold these on at a good profit to offset the extra I had paid for other issues. I have currently 17 issues oustanding from my original back orders and have had nothing from Eaglemoss in about 3 months. Their helpline is good and accessible but they dont seem to keep track off what issues they have sent and what is outstanding and you have to chase them.

Out of curiosity, is the 007 car still available 'on subscription'? I might start that one as DeAg aren't offering anything new that interests me. Roy.
