It`s a nice idea when building a model with sealed voids, to enclose a little treasure chest of nostalgic memories?
Your photo......A little message....Family snippits....Postage stamps and a few coins?
A nice model will be kept safe for many years to come
Just a thought

Bit of an old soppy me but that is such a wonderful idea. Have any of you guys/gals ever watched antiques roadshow when they have those old family heirlooms presented. The times they say "wish we had a date" , "wish we had a name". While maybe a little sad that the model would have to be be broken I like to include just a small printed bit of paper giving some details of who I am, from we're I am from etc etc. Who knows in Years to come what may happen to these built models. Some may end in museums as part of some kind donation. Some maybe inherited by family and stored away for years. Maybe see it as a way of communicating with the future. Really good post so thanks for that Kind regards Tony Happy Modelling

Ha ha, I love blowing things up and shooting things up (at work if course) Guess that's the soldiers version of breaking lego! I recently spent two hours standing on the side of a mountain to watch two javelins being fired, caught pneumonia for my trouble, the targets were impounded cars we got from the gardai, To get back on topic I think its a great idea, recently my mother in law met an old friend who bought her parents house, she told my mother in law that while she was removing the old wall paper she uncovered a message from her father!
