I have glued together the keel etc as per book and left the ribs dry as the book states,( issues 1 to 6 ) will i need to build a jig ? many off you mention one but theres nothing in the book ?

Ferret i have put a post to you in...laying a keel ....but the basic answer is yes ...it is very much needed.  ...even though you get a stand with part 24 ...a jig is a very good start ....quick and easy to build ...and most important CHEAP...
