Hi all,
I know about Admiralty Paints from the UK which seem to be the closest match to Victory's actual colours. However, they're not available here in Malaysia (and very expensive for me to order from the UK).
Does anyone know of alternative acrylic paints I can get, eg Tamiya, or Game Color (from Vallejo)?
Any help would be most grateful, Thanks! Floogen

Hi guys,
Can you contact modelspace@deagostini.co.uk where they will try to arrange the Victory paint set to be sold directly.

Mr. T.... need your help here... I am finding it quite hard to find the paints here.. I did a search on the web and managed to find one supplier in Malaysia that has an online shop. Just wondering if you can have a look at their site and help to recommend the correct colour for HMS Victory... so far.. I managed to get White, Gold, Black and Yellow ochre. Appreciate your help....

thanks... At the moment I have one of each.. about 120ml each.. is that enough? cheaper to get it online... i bought the 4 bottles for RM23 each.. where else online is selling for less than half the price... I checked at the tool shop for DeAgostini at the paints needed are listed as below.. This HMS Victory Paint Set comprises 14 X 18ml waterbased paints. 3 X Dull black 1 X Matt (metal) Black 1 x Matt white 3 x Yellow Ochre 1 x Red Ochre 1 X French blue 1 X Olive Green 1 x Wood (Walnut) Brown 1 X Gold/Brass 1 X Copper Can I just use one type of black instead of Dull black and matt (metal) black? How about the olive green and wood (walnut) brown? any other colour that can come close to it from the list in the website..?? I am assuming ultra marine is to replace french blue... thanks again... btw.. I have started a blog to chronicle my build.. nothing much yet.. just some very basic posting.... here is the link.... http://crazymodeller.blogspot.com/
thanks again...!!!!!
