Pieces are glued together, the problem I have is with the angles Confused
The first pic shows square placed on the bottom, the second placed on deck

Measuring along the back of block It's 72mm, along the front is 69mm.
I'm assuming these should measure the same, and It's going to be a case of soaking
the block, and taking apart then re-starting.
Was also wondering if it would make more sense to assemble on the actual ship, as this
would keep it completely square.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Steve

BigGrin Hi Steve
when I made up the bow block I constructed it on the hull, im hoping you used white wood glue when you made yours up because its a soak and dismantle job here then I would make it up on the hull as you have suggested. Hope this helps

Thanks Andy, and yes, it was constructed with PVA glue. Had reconciled myself to dismantling the block, just needed
to make sure assembling on hull was viable. Thanks again for your assistance, regards Steve

Be VERY!!!! careful about soaking it apart! MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) will expand, and then completely disintegrate!
