HELP: I have just received the Flags and the 'Victory' name transfer. Am I the only one who thinks this is very oversized?. For the model it should only measure 60mm across not 78mm as supplied. I can understand size restrictions when it applies to small items, but there should have been no reason to print the name so large. As it is it will span 5 of the rear windows and not just over 3 as it should. Is it possible to acquire the name anywhere else? John

Hi Pluto. If you have a PC and scanner you could always scan the oversized items, resize them on any graphics program and then print them onto waterslide transfer paper to make your own. That's how I made mine up (except I had to design it from scratch). You can also use exactly the same procedure with T-shirt iron on transfer paper to make your own flags too! Both types of paper are available through ebay. Best of luck Robin First wooden ship: The Grimsby 12 Gun 'Frigate' by Constructo Second: Bounty DelPrado Part Works Third: HMS Victory DelPrado Part Works 1/100 scale Diorama of the Battle of the Brandywine from the American Revolutionary War Diorama of the Battle of New Falkland (unfinished sci-fi), Great War Centenary Diorama of the Messines Ridge Assault Index for the Victory diary is on page 1

Tomick, No - Not Catheads which I now have. I am referring to the oversized 'Victory' name. On the model it should be no more than 60mm. The name' Victory' supplied by DeAgostini measures nearer 80mm. I thought my previous post made this clear that it is too large and I asked if it were possible to get a correct sized one anywhere else. John

Robin Many thanks for that suggestion Robin. I'm glad that I am not the only one that knows the 'Victory' name supplied is oversized. I will endeavour to acquire some waterslide transfer paper and have a go at correcting the problem. I'm certain that there are some standing rigging items misssing from the instructions, when I make compare photo's of 'Victory' in Portsmouth with the completed model - but that's another issue. Thanks again. John

John I think Toms question is around the title of your post which refers to catheads yet the topic is totaly unrelated. “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
