BigGrin Hi Nem
the control panel did come with the kit in etch but the Eduard etch set was better detailed and included a paper dial or printed plastic dial set so I have used the plastic set and painted the rear white

BigGrin Hi All
I have done some more on the painting but its going to be done in three parts gun ,carriage and hull ended up with a bit of splatter here and there not a happy bunnyCrying .I also tried to recreate the type of paint scratches that may occur around the shell breach. The copper barrel rifleing is more easy to see now also

Excellent work Andy, I like that alot!!! Certainly coming on now. Wouldn't worry about the spatter too much, by the time you have added washes and weathering it will blend in and add to the effect!!! Very impressed!!BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

BigGrin Hi All
A bit more progress, the lower hull has now been added to the upper hull and the silencers added with the etch brackets and joints also the camo on either end has been added. Just the railings to go on now and the crew to make up and a bit of weathering. the shell is only half painted just placed it there for effect not sure what colour the shells were though as the paint instructions don't mention a colour four itCrying so for now its Tamiya's dark iron and I think the rear rings should be copper. As always all comments are welcome
regards
