here the hull is half planked.

first planking done just starting 2nd. plnking.

2nd.planking now done,next is the coppering of the hull.

That's looking very good karl I hope I can do half as well on the planking of my Victory.

Crumbs Karl, you did not waste any time on HMS Pickle, looks really great mate..keep the pictures coming.

the scale of pickle is 1/64 the copper tiles are fiddly,just one spot of gel superglue is too much,so have to take some off before you lay the tile.

note the caulking on lower deck and the baulkheads have been painted black to give depth.

using 1mm.black standing rigging,tack each end with gel superg. run a thin line of thin superg tilt boat at same time,glue then runs all the way down the line,you soon get used to it,no danger as long as you practice a small run at a time.then you butt up a plank to it and do the same running along edge of wood,because it is so thin it runs under the plank as well,if you wet your planks, the runs are instant.sounds dodgy,nawwwwww you are holding the plank against the line,so no problem,but that is how I do it,(at this point I point out the disclaimer)if done like this the line doe's not come adrift whilst sanding.
