Hi Ronnie ....well i dont soak them ....i use a damp tea-towel and a very hot steam iron....with the bits being ply-wood i find the direct heat softens the glue a little and then hardens a lot faster than the wood being soaked...the damp tea-towel is there just to stop the wood from burning .BigGrin ...and beggaring up the wifes new steam iron....LOL ...hope this helps mate...BigGrin BigGrin

Hi ronnie .....nope it does not need to be clamped....just check it after half an hour ..(make sure the wood has cooled off)if some warping is still there ....then repeat on the warped area....it may take several passes ....but you will get there ...BigGrin

john...

I have a few warped parts too, I will also try the ironong method and see how it works.
Now comes the hard part, does anyone know how to operate an iron
