Issue 31 - Contans bamboo & basswood wooden planking strips and pin-nails.
Continue the planking - Fit three rows of planking onto the upper side of the hull, on both sides of the hull as shown in the steps. Ensure that the planks are glued to each other along the full length.
Leave a slight overhang of planking at bulkhead 2, which will be cut flush in Issue 34 once the rest of the planking has been laid.
Gun kit - Assemble the gun as before and finish in your chosen guise.
Thats its for this stage, carefully store the gun and remaining planking.

Continue the upper hull planking to fit another three rows of planking on each side of the hull as shown.
Note: When fitting the third row, note that the tops of frames 7, 13, 15 and 16 are much thinner than the rest and may break if pinned into. Therefore do not insert pins into these frames, but just glue/clamp the planks in place.
Assemble the blocks and gun kit as before. Finish the gun in your chosen colour.
Carefully store the gun, blocks and remaining planking material.

Issue 33 - Contains bamboo & basswood wooden planking strips and pin-nails.
Continue the upper hull planking to fit another 3 rows of planking, (the 3rd row contains a tapering element to it). A 4th tapered plank is also added at the stern (midway ribs 15/16 to rib 26).
Start by fiting two rows to each side of the hull as shown in the steps, take care not to pin into the thinner rib tops, but clamp the planks as before. (Note that Step 6 says rib 13 to 21 - Sshould be rib 21 to 27).
For the 3rd row, cut a strip that runs midway of ribs 5/6 to the midpoint of rib 16. The taper the strip with the slope running aft to rib 16. Glue the strip in place, and when fully dry, sand the tapered end (between ribs 5/6) to blend with the previous plank fitted.
Cut, glue and fit a strip from the mid point of frame 16 to rib 27.
Cut a strip to fit midway of ribs 15/16 to the midpoint of rib 26. Then taper the forward part of the strip so that it blends with the previous plank between rib 151/6, and has its full width at rib 26.
When the planking glue has fully dried, carefully smooth the tapered end (between ribs 15/16) to blend with the previous plank fitted.
Cut a full width strip to fit between ribs 26/27, glue and fit in place.
Cut, fit and glue a curved plank into the remaining slot beneath the gallery panel. When the gue has fully dried, finish the strip by smoothing the lower edge to align with the gallery planking.
Carefully trim flush the overhanging planking strips at the stern (but not those of the upright stern post).

Issue 34 - Contains bamboo, basswood and sapele wooden planking strips and pin-nails.
Continue the upper hull planking as shown in the instructions. Note that parts of the planking will be unsupported by ribs, you should place these planks directly above the last and align their path.
Ensure that you step the planking at the indicated points to complete the first planking of trhe hull.
Cutaway the overhang of planking at the bow and smooth flush with the face of rib #2.
Smooth level the upright of planking at the stern post to leave a 2mm overhang. Then smooth taper the planking at the stern where it runs up to the stern post, sand so that it follows a gentle taper almost down to the keel beneath at the point of corner of the sternpost as shown in the diagram.
Its now time to sand the entire hull and below gallery planking. Take your time on this process, you need to sand smooth any lumps or bumps in the planking and also fill any depressions or dents, as these may visible when the second planking is laid later on.
Start with a course grit sandpaper and work in a methodical uniform manner, preferably outdoors. Use a good quality wood filler which adhere's to wood, which is flexible, resistant to cracking and shrinkproof. Fill and sand any undulations then smooth the hull with a medium grade sandpaper and finish off with a fine grade.
I used 'Ronseal multi-purpose wood filler' which has such properties, which also accepts stain, varnish and paint. I also opted to skim the entire hull to fill the 'v' grooves left by the rounded corners of the bamboo planking.
If you are using a powertool, then take geat care with its use - It is very easy to remove too much material and wil be additional work to put it back if too much material is removed., constantly check your sanding as you go and keep good control of your powertool.
Store the remaining wooden strips and keep your hull protected from knocks and bumps.

Issue 36 - Contains two gun kits., and has instructions for making a start with laying the sapele second planking of the upper hull, and adding photo-etch detail to the ship's boat.

Issue 38 - Contains gallery framework parts and rear panel., and has instructions for fitting the gallery framework parts, completing the sapele planking, fitting the rear panel and making blocks for the cannons.
Issue 39 - Contains wooden gallery parts and birchwood strips., and has instructions for painting the upper hull, planking the underside of the gallery, fitting the keel, sternpost and bowsprit stem, and painting of the lower half of the hull.
Issue 40 - Contains bow wooden parts, bowsprit grating template, brass mesh and bamboo strips,. and has instructions for further painting of the hull, adding the lower gunwales and the lining of the gun ports.Tomick attached the following image(s):

Issue 35 - Contains two gun kits.
Take your time and great care to mark out the model for the port placements as show.
The measurements are indentical on both sides of the model as is the positioning of the gun ports and entry ports.
Double check your port measurements and the positioning of each port in relation to the magazine step images BEFORE you cut-out each port. Each port should be 13mm wide and 12mm tall.
Note that step 13 shows the positioning of the port to the right of frame 16 to be 15mm aft, and the port look almost central between frame 16 and 20, which is also reflected in later step images of appearing almost central between the two ports above as shown at step 16. However, you may find that the 15mm measurement at step 13 should be closer to 20mm for the port to appear almost central between frames 16 & 20. Subsequent magazine images show this port to be almost central.
Store the gun kits for later assembly.
In the next stage, we will complete the planking of the stern post, commence the sapele second planking of the upper half of the model, and add photo-etched brass detail to the ship's boat.
