Thanks Hans I do not get info up here in Afghanistan about when the launches take place, even though I have asked Jacklin to email me when it does happen. However, I have subscribed and hopefully the magazines will be at home. I will first complete the Victory and then start on the SotS. At present I use my time up here to redraw (and teach myself) the plans of the Santisima Trinidad for a scratch build. With the redrawing of the plans I have learnt a lot about the ship, various parts and how they are designed/built. Together with the books and the assistance of fellow builders on this site and at other sites, I am sure I will make a success of it. I am going to rebuild my building board so that it can accommodate a scratch build. Kit building is a stepping stone to the next level of building. Regards Andre  Current Build: HMS Victory

I hear you Andre. I will also complete my Victory before I tackle the SOTS. My problem is I want to do the Cross section as well. Might, just might, do them side by side. Going to be challenging but we will see. Rgds, Hans
