Here is come pictures of my finished routemaster bus.

Hope you like it. The build was not as easy as you think also the only modification I made was to the drivers door being able to open.

All comments welcome good or bad.

Oh Wow!, that is stunning. The diorama is brill.

Did you airbrush the bus or brush it?

One thing I would be tempted to do on mine is to change the Jacobs cream cracker decal for something a bit livelier. Shouldn't be too difficult to do. Why didn't you use the rear banner decals either?

Thanks rob for your comments.
As for the painting I airbrushed the main bodywork as its the first time I have used an airbrush and to say so myself I'm quite pleased with it.
I didn't want to overload the bus with decals as I prefer the sweeping lines that's why I only put the Side logos on.

Once again thanks for looking.

Superb result Pete, well done to you and I love the dio!! Mind you, it looks like the gent in the queue is busting for the loo by the way he is standing? LOL LOL LOL

You say it was a difficult build Pete, but you persevered with it my friend and brought it to a successful and very nice conclusion. The fact that you found it hard and yet still managed to get on top of it means that you must have learnt something and thus increased your skill as a modeller - which is what it's is all about!!

Well done again - now I'm gonna see about getting one of them AND the black cab!! Cool ThumpUp

Pete

That is an absolutely brilliant build.

I really think the figures you have used are tops. Never seen these before so not sure from where you got them. They seem to have a 60's/70's feel and are really good.

On such a big area of model you have done very well with the airbrush as its not an easy thing to master.

Well done again and many thanks for sharing this with us all.

Kind regards

Tony
Happy Modelling

Thank you all for your very kind comments, and to Stevie-o thanks again for the figures hope they look right for the job.
As for the bus the only thing you could modify was the drivers door as it was an exceptional model to do with lots of new ways of modelling that I have learnt, would not go for the black cab because it would need a lot of heavy modifying as there is no engine included and most if the doors don't open kev.

Once again thanks for the kind comments.
