Today me and my wife ...decided to go down town (whitby) and as we were walking (o.k in my case hobbleing)...we saw a placqe on a wall saying that William Scorsby once lived there......he was an Artic explorer, whaler and he invented the crows nest...."doffs cap"....i have lived here nearly 11 years and never noticed it before...BigGrin BigGrin
