Hi again.
Just looking at some of the builds. I've noticed planking done on the 2nd deck? Is this an optional addition to builds or still to be done in later issues? Is this planking the same wood dimensions of the hull planking?
Thanks again
Regards
Jay

Its not in the instructions and is down to personal choice, but dont use similar to the hull planking as its way too thick.

Experienced builders tend to go their own route with adding enhancements or changes to the intended build.

Some builders have been planking the second deck, as a practice run at techniques of construction and finishing.
I don't think any of the second deck will be visible on the finished model, if done as per the official build.
If you are going for some lighting on the gun-decks, this planking might just be visible through the deck gratings, if you decide to cut the upper deck out under the gratings. You would have to really squint at it from directly above to see anything though. This would be a modification to the official build - up to you.
