Hello all,
Having watched the fantastic TV coverage of the recent 'Dambusters' 70th Anniversary flyover of Derwent Reservoir, I was really hoping that at least one aftermarket decal company would offer up a set of decals for the tailfin design on the two Tornados in 1:48 scale.
At the weekend I bought the current issue of 'Scale Aircraft Modelling' magazine and saw an advert for just such a set and it includes decals to make ANY of the actual Lancs that went on the raid, as well as the Tornados. Alas, the sheet was for 1:72 aircraft only!!  
So, I emailed the company - Kitsworld - and asked if they had plans to release the same sheets in 1:48 and this morning they have replied telling me that they will indeed be releasing a sheet for 1:48 AND 1:32 in July/August of this year!! I have a project all lined up for these and will be buying the minute they are released!!
