BigGrin Hi All

Well pack 15 arrived after having to replace the missing one so on with the build. The rudder has been made up and the tail fin finished off. The arrestor hook gear has been made up and fitted as has the tail wheel with its oleo strut.
The rubber headrest has been fitted along with some infills to the cockpit and the main undercariage hinges fitted to the oleo legs.
There was some covering for the wings and rudder included but i havent fitted these as yet as im planing something different here plus the covering included for the wings is on the side im leaving open.
More soon

Regards

BigGrin Hi Alan

All the flying surfaces aileron, rudder and elevators will be covered with nylon as shown in a tutorial i did here,

http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=11743

http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=11744

I am going to do the half covered and half open option but do not want any open area's that will just collect dust so i have a plan for these area's too more on that when the time comes to reveal all. Thanks for looking in and your comments

BigGrin Hi all

Pack 16, One side of the tail plane and elevator have been made up and painted next was the cockpit floor and the front ring added to the engine.
Again there were wing skins to add but on the wing I am leaving open but the skin bending jigs have now been provided. Next the gun site and reflector was made up painted and fitted to the front of the cockpit.
Lastly the pulleys and cable guides had to be individually cut out and fixed in position , a long slow job 26 in all of two different types, the cables have still to be fitted to the pulleys. The last picture is a penny shot of the fuselage to give an impression of size but remember the engine is not fitted here.
More soon.

BigGrin Hi All

The last thing to do for this month was the control surface cables inside the fuselage, these are rune along the various pulleys fitted earlyer in this month's build. The only change I made when fitting the cables was to drill holes for 3 of the cables and glue the cables inside the holes instead of just against the bulkheads. Not sure if you will see them but there the thin silver cables on both sides and along the bottom. More soon
