heres how to save a bit of time

instead of cutting 6 pieces of thread 450 long cut 3 at 900 using a needle thread the thread at the indicated locations on the sail and tie off at the midway point of the thread. Result two lengths of 450 on each side of the sail. Looks tidier that 6 knots.

As I proceed with the rigging and sails I wonder how many more times I will read "repeat on the other side". Reminds me of the days of kirbside motors in my youth working on the current banger to keep it on the road with my trusty Haynes manual which inevitably said "reassembly is the reverse of the above" ahhh happy days
