issue 80 cross jack yard Options

Could someone tell me if the 2 yard slings provided with issue 80 are the right size because comparing them to tge drawing they are much smaller ... Thanks cal

hi cal, looks alright to me,don't forget that ,that is a top view,so the overhang does not show on that drawing, k.

I think they are a bit small do you have some larger ones?. the pale rectangle is the footprint of the part the extending black line is the top of the part representing the overhang - or at least that is how I have understood it, just like a technical drawing view. I just did the main mast spar today and my part fitted to the plan.

The rest have fitted the drawings .... what do they actually do and will it matter uf they are a bit smaller

I think they are used for fitting them to the mast. can you not fabricate replacements from some scrap?
