When I got round to rigging the deadeyes on Victory, I found problems using the wire jig. My solution was to make up a jig from brass wire and a piece of scrap plank. Measure across any two holes in a deadeye mark out on the piece of plank. Drill 4 0.6mm holes Bend the brass wire as per the magazine, leaving longer tails, feed the wire through the holes and secure with super glue, bend the wire as needed and trim to length. Repeat for small deadeyes.

Confused HI, I would be very grateful if you could try to put images to your suggestion as it would be easier to get 'a picture'. It sounds interesting but I just don't get it... thanks.....
