ay up shipmates ,managed to get some shotgun cartridges which under certain danger lol have now been stripped of their contents ,ready to be used as cannon balls unsure what gauge they are ( have 2 sizes ) but the lead ones are the most up to scale.however i have been told by my shotting friend that the lead ones are now hard to get hold of ,something to do with animal cruelty

Glad to see someone took my advice. Don't forget to take the wadding out and empty the shotgun powder before you dispose of them. I think they are perfect for the job and providing you're careful there's no worries.
Not experienced any problem with getting lead shot but I'm sure some health & safety meddler will want to ban them. Usually the pheasants die of the impact not lead poisoning!
