BigGrin Hi All
The Belfast comes in Trumpeter's usual sturdy cardboard box with some nice artwork depicting the ship at sea circa 1942. On opening the box you will find 18 sprue's containing 520 parts, plus some etch, chain, a colour 3 way image paint chart, a detail page for the etch parts, some decals and finally the comprehensive instruction booklet.
You can see immediately on opening this is a new mould kit as there is no sink or flash present on the parts, in fact all the moulding is fresh and crisp with a good amount of detail included. Another feature I like is the moulding of the two Walrus sea planes in clear plastic. The etch provided with the kit comprises of radar parts ,ladders and superstructure detail parts. A set of decal's are included comprising of ensigns and aircraft markings, lastly a nice stand is provided with a name plate.
In conclusion , a well moulded comprehensive kit with over 500+ parts with a nice bit of etch that will make a good rendition of the Belfast in her 1942 guise, in all a build that I will enjoy
