And by 19 you'll have middle and lower decks in place, planking starts at 20.

16/17 are probably the two most important issue's of build to get right for the series, best to familiarise yourselves with these before taking glue to hand out of haste to build, because the standard of build for 16 & 17 will reflect on the alignment of build thereafter, Nelson would have been most unimpressed to set sail in a banana boat!

Planking start at issues 20.. Thats when the fun really starts...better get on with my hull mock up. Tomick, will the lower decks be needed to be planked at this early stage?

Planking will start at the lower deck level and go up rather than down, the bottom half of the hull will likely be planked following the cutting of the gun ports.
