Well HMS Victory is now complete so on to the next build

I have been stockpiling the parts for the Hummer and have now started with a vengance

After only a week I am up to stage 16. This is a completly different build to the Victory. More assembly of parts and less actual soaking bending painting and less swearing so far.

The new build bring with new issues/problems if only minor.

Adding grease to the many parts from the supplied packets of grease is messy and fiddly so on with the thinking cap.

I have purchased a tube of grease from my local model shop plus a small medicine dispenser from the chemist 75p. I can easily fill and refill the small syringe with grease and this will make it easier to apply to the relevant parts of the model as construction progresses

The Build Continues.

Waiting for the next delivery

I must admit to finding this build easier than that for the Victory

Still Christmas is coming and perhaps Father Xmas will bring another build in his bag

BigGrin Hi Gil
looking the biz there and nice idea with the syringe but instead of buying one if you fill your own printer ink cartridges you get one in the set that spare when the inks gone

Just received the next lot of bits which take me up to stage 28

Have been waiting for the parts as I received the email nearly 2 weeks ago. Must learn patience.

Have cracked on with the construction but the downside is I now have to wait several weeks for the next parts.

To keep be busy I have hinted to she who must be obeyed that as My Birthday and Christmas are approaching I would like the Norman and Roman Catapult kits from Cornwall Models. Think I might be lucky as a strange and large parcel has been delivered. They should keep me busy.

Pictures of my build so far are attached
