Hi Everyone.
I am after some advice.
I have finally succumbed to starting the Victory. Could not hold out any longer.
Anyway i am up to issue 19 and was wondering whether to plank and tree nail the lower decks as i have opted for the cuterway section and obviously the entry ports.
Dose anyone know if they are planked in a later issue or would it be ok to do this off my own back now.
Thanks for any advice.
Best regards all.
Mark

Hi Mark
The decking that can be seen through the entry ports in minimal, the instructions say to draw on the planks and nails and this is probably sufficient - I personally planked this area but drew on the treenails.

The cutaway section comes with its own deck which slides into the openings later and is planked separately. You could of course not use the cutaway deck sections and plank the lower gun decks in this area but its not nessesary. Hope this helps

Hi Mark, if you take a look at final stages Mr T's official build diary you will see all you need in relation to the cut out section, it may help you decide which way to go....Cool Cool

Hi Steve and Alan BigGrin .
Thank you both so much for your help.
I will plank the entry ports but will omit the cut out section as i am not to keen on it.
Again thanks guys and best regards to you both.
