Hi all. This is my diary for my beloved MP4-23. It's the 1st time that I've attempted anything this big. I missed it when it 1st came down due to lack on cash :-(. But was glad that I could still subscribe to it when cash was better :-). I started it back in November '12 & on issue 46 @ the mo. On the whole I am quite happy on how I've done. A few mistakes that wind me up a bit. Mainly the bit of glue on the rear flap of the front wing, along with the decals of the 'n' & 'o' of Vodafone. I also broke one of the crank relay rods while attaching it to the inertia damper crank so had to buy that issue again :-(. So did not force it as much it is out of alignment but ALOT better then snapping another one. I did tax Kev's idea of repainting the torsion bar cranks sorry bloke ;-(. Any way I hope you enjoy the pics. Any feedback (good or bad) would be appreciated. Andy. Good work Andy. I'm glad you didn't miss the boat, this is an excellent model and will be something you will be very proud of when finished. Don't be too concerned about the front wing because it will be obscured by the bridge wing so won't notice too much. By the way your dog looks like a bear

I thought that I would have a go at doing a helmet to go with the build. I was able to get a Sebastian Vettel Aral helmet by Minichamps via Ebay for only £12.00. I removed the visor & used Tamiya J.A. grey (XF-14) for the base. I don't own a spray gun kit & couldn't justify to myself the cost of one, so it was painted via brushes (forgot how much of a pain painting with gloss was). Brought the F'artefice decals set 3 from Le Mans 88 via their Ebay shop. On the whole quite happy how it came out. With only a couple mistakes. red-five666 attached the following image(s): "I’m not expendable, I’m not stupid, and I'm not going."
