There have been some elements of the press who have been claiming that Sebastian Vettel cannot be considered one of the greats until he has won championships with different teams.
Any thoughts?

To be honest no,he would have to drag a team from nothing like Schumacher did with Ferrari. Also although somehow they have been lucky to wriggle out from them there have been too many questions about Red Bulls performance over the years that can we REALLY be sure that the success has all been down to him,Webber is no slouch behind the wheel but to be a second slower?Hmmm. Don't get me wrong,I am not throwing accusations,I just have niggles in my mind.....saying that though Sundays performance was inspired driving & he fully deserved the win. There is the other school of thought...how do you compare Fangio,Senna & Vettel with each other, compared to Fangio Sennas car was vastly superior...compared to either of them Vettels is like a spaceship, bring back manual gearboxes with no electronic trickery & gizmos....that will sort the men from the boys & give a more level field for comparison. This is just my opinion there are are others out there freely available!! Rob Nolli Illigitimi Carborundum!!!Current Builds: HMS Victory, SV Thermopylae

In my opinion the fastest drivers at the mo. is the brat(hamilton) and alonso, followed by vettel, this is the era of redbull and once again adrian newey, any of the top drivers would have won in vettels car. webbers run of bad luck leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and think he didn't get the attention that vettel did. I really thought that vettel was going to give webber the last race,as he owed him one. that just shows me what a killer instinct vettel has,and is just out to break every record in the book, and the longer he drives for redbull the more like he wants to be like schumacher, I also think that vettel didn't want alonso as his team mate, too much talent to compete against. When you consider that such opportunities may not come round again, then of course his aim has to be break every record in the book, though it would have been a nice gesture had he let Webber have the last laugh, which would have also bettered Vettel public perception, but then again he is in it to win it.
Should be interesting to see how 2014 goes.

I think to be honest if Vettel had gifted the race to Webber the big guy would have been really insulted,he values his own abilities rather than titbits others deign to offer him. Rob Nolli Illigitimi Carborundum!!!Current Builds: HMS Victory, SV Thermopylae
