Hi, I have just started building the first wing section of the spitfire but I am a bit confused. The written instructions tell me to glue ribs 3-4-5-6 into slots 5-7-9-11 on main wing spa, which I have done, and as I have moved on to next set of ribs I have noticed on the photographs the ribs 3-4-5-6 are shown fixed in slots 4-6-8-10, could you please tell me which is correct and how do I get glued ribs back out of wrong slots if that is the case. Thanks Teroy.

If they are glued into the wrong slots, the easiest way to unstick them (assuming youve used white wood glue) is to soak in hot water for a few mins, and youll be able to then pull them apart dead easy and intact.Allow to dry overnight on a flat surface (with something heavy on top to make sure they dont warp) then just glue as normal. Hi Teroy Make sure you are counting the end of the rib as a slot... Each of the ribs you are fixing will have a tab at the end and will be positioned so that each rib will miss a rib... From what you are saying it sounds like your build is correct but your not counting the end slot.... Which is not a slot but will be for rib 1.... Look at Tomicks official build under stage 11 here and if yours looks the same then you have done it correct. http://forum.model-space...aspx?g=posts&t=8130
If you provide a picture then I can confirm this but don't start taking anything apart just yet Regards Spencer
