HI All.
If you look at my Endeavor build i am in need of some assistance. I am looking for some 0.15mm brown thread.
I have been in touch with CMB, who i believe are the only suppliers of this size thread in the UK as i have not found any one else that does it, and they will not have any in until the new year and do not really want to put the build on hold until then.
If anyone out there has any of this size thread that they could spare i would be willing to pay what you want for it and cover the cost of postage.
Hope there is someone out there that can help and thanks in advance for any comments, even if you can not help.
Regards
Foz

Regards Alan Hi Alan. Thanks for taking the time to look in. Have been on the phone today with CMB and they do not have what i need. Both the AL and OcCre products are our of stock, so, as i have now got rid of the foremast shrouds to start again, looks like i will have the build on hold until next year, unless i can find some were else to get the thread. Regards Foz

Hi Foz I received a roll on my last delivery - 0.15 brown 30m - It's the first roll I have been sent and comes with issue 89 of the Vic. Now, you could buy a back issue if you are desperate but it may take 10 days or so to get to you. I can send you my thread now and when your back issue comes you can return it to me - you will also get 5 other thickness threads in that issue plus some blocks, gratings, wire etc - there are no victory specific parts there so its all useful. I know this is not the best way to get it but it does seem to be out of stock everywhere right now. Cheers Steve

HI Lads
Thanks for the help in finding the thread, however, on my build log, David (daffy09) found a supplier that has it in stock and they are about 20 mins drive from were i live. Have ordered some and told i can pick it up when they get it from here other warehouse.
Again members on this forum have come to the rescue, thanks to all.
Regards
Foz

Hi All
Back again with the thread problem. Daffy09 (David09) found me a link that had some of the 0.15mm brown thread, after giving them a call they said they had some in stock, now after visiting them seems they only have i roll of the thread in stock, unfortunately not enough for what i need.
I have been searching the net all day, to no avail, so if there is anyone out there that knows were i can obtain this thread, or if you have any i can purchase from you i would be most grateful.
Regards
Foz

Hi Mr T
Thanks for your time, however, i found that site earlier today and thought YES. But after a phone call, then them calling me back, which i thought was very good off them, they have none in stock and not updated there site.
Seems that there is none of this size thread in the UK. Seems i am going to be putting builds on hold.
Again, thanks for taking the tie to look and get in touch.
Regards
Foz.

A back issue might be the way to go unless you have some idea when retail stocks might be live again

Thanks for looking in Mr T. I had thought of that as some one else mentioned it. But after a few phone calls to the various places i have been told they should have a stock back in sometime in January so for now i am going to wait until then even if it means putting the Endeavor on hold till then.
Regards
Foz
