Although not strictly HMS Victory, I thought this might be the place to remind fellow forum members that David Gray and I are planning a visit to Hartlepool on Tuesday 10th August.

The purpose is twofold. First of all to get some build pictures of HMS Trincomalee which is the world's second oldest floating warship and a contemporary of HMS Victory. Also that day the tall ships festival finishes at Hartlepool and the ships will be leaving harbour and doing a 'sail past'. Chance to test out telephoto lenses etc.

David is coming down from the north and I'm going up from Leeds and hopefully meeting at the railway station about 09:15 hrs. Station is close to the Historic Ships complex and the marina.

Anybody interested in joining our expedition would be very welcome.
